Stanley Island Lodge

Stanley Island, the only private island in South Africa on the Garden Route, is situated in the beautiful Keurbooms Lagoon, Plettenberg Bay. The Island holiday destination accommodates 20 guests in luxury lodge accommodation, in the heart of a private nature reserve, which is home to a wide variety of fauna and flora including zebra, bushbuck and grysbok. Perfect for any occasion, from honeymoon to family getaways, Stanley Island features an indigenous milkwood forest, private beaches, a swimming pool with outdoor entertainment area and a 1000m grass landing strip ideal for fly-in holidays.

The Lodge recycles all organic waste and paper, using eco friendly water-saving and electricity practices. There is also vegetable garden and biodegradeble products are used where possible. Stanley Island also utilizes alien plants for wood and strives to keep the island indigenous by an annual alien eradication program.
