Food plays a huge role at Buccaneers, renowned for the delicious, home-cooked meals served every evening in the bar or View of Africa room; freshly made, hearty portions, kind on the pocket and rich with vegetarian options.

There is a wide range of activities on offer in Chintsa from surfing, mountain bike rides, visits to the infamous Mama Tofu (the oldest registered tour guide in South Africa) in her traditional Xhosa village, and even a volunteer experience in a local preschool for those who want to give back. Breaks are important too; find a quiet corner and gaze at the breathtaking view, take a slow stroll down the property and wander down to the beach, where you can feel the warm grainy sand between your toes.
