ROOST Cafe is a cosmopolitan-styled cafe and artisan bakery. At ROOST you can taste the difference. We are very ‘Proudly Local’, and subscribe to the ‘Support local, Organic, free-range, hand-picked, roasted and reared’ philosophy. Reduce, reuse and recycle is a motto we live by.

Choose to sit in the leafy garden setting under a canopy of trees in the Summertime listening to live music (watch out for the monkey’s!) or an over-sized wooden family-style table inside. In Winter you’ll find the old fire place stacked high with wood, crackling away, so find yourself an intimate cozy cushioned corner for 2 and let the ambiance carry you away.

At ROOST we serve an array of ‘must come back for more’ breakfasts; from our Paleo Plate to Smashed Avocado on Nutty Rye. Our poached egg’s benedict on crisp potato rosti with buttery hollandaise have become a Plett top 10 thing to try! From perfectly made, locally roasted barista coffee, exotic pots of loose leaf tea to freshly pressed fruit juices and gourmet milkshakes. Lunch is loaded with unusual toasties, vibrant salads, mouth-watering burgers and hand-cut chips to fresh fish and fish cakes and home-made fresh rolled pasta dishes to name abut a few. Our afternoon decadent cakes and coffee or vanilla buttermilk scones and tea is worth a visit alone.We offer a vast array of artisan stone-ground flour sourdough breads and rolls to delectable real butter, full fat, full cream, full of love patisserie items, cakes, bakes, quiche, sandwiches and pies all baked daily. The farmstall shelves offers a range of tasty teats, bags of roasted coffee beans to fine edible gifts, so make sure to pack a box of goodies for the ride home!
