The Orchards

The Orchards Executive Accommodation is four-star guest house in Midrand that offers a combination of excellent accommodation facilities with a distinct cultural theme.

Each of the 21 rooms is decorated with paintings and artefacts from different South African tribes, capturing their essence. Room facilities are all modern and designed for guests’ comfort. Each room is en suite and has satellite TV, a fridge, safe, air-conditioner, heater and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms also have wi-fi and a desk for the convenience of business travellers who may need a space to work.

Continental and English breakfasts are served on the terrace or in the dining room.

The Orchards is also an events venue and can host conferences and meetings for 10 to 80 people in two conference rooms. Half-day and full-day conference packages are offered. Weddings and personal events for up to 100 people are set up in the garden, offering a romantic setting for special events.

Cultural experiences for groups of 10 people or more are held at Shango La Hashu, The Orchards’ traditional African village. The experience includes traditional singing and dancing and a traditional meal.
