Honeymoon Farm

Honeymoon Farm produces seasonal, organically grown, delicious fruit and vegetables, mostly tomatoes, carrots, strawberries, potatoes, asparagus, spinach and a variety of herbs. A varying dark Bluegum and Fynbos honey is harvested in spring and summer together with a natural antibiotic of comb honey and propolis. Wholesome free range eggs are collected each day from the Koekoeks, Road Island Reds, Australorp and Boschveld chickens.

All fruit and veggie surplus is either cooked up, frozen, bottled or dried. The honey, eggs and dried tomatoes, bananas and apples are a big hit in the local community. Firewood is produced in bulk on a daily basis. All excess wood is allocated to the farm, due to alien eradication and Pieter’s tree specialist business. All of these products are packaged and sold to the local community and larger establishments.
